CORAL SPRINGS, Florida (July 8, 2019) – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced today with a total of 1,097 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.  The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50. The 2018-2019 WGCA All-American Scholar Team features five Mount St. Joseph University women's golfers.

Junior Emma Schrand (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley), Sophomore Sara Eads (Cincinnati, OH/Colerain), Sophomore Isabella Olthaus (Cincinnati, OH/Seton), Freshman Colleen Werbrich (West Alexandria, OH/Alter), and Freshman Patricia Windholtz (Newark, OH/Newark Catholic) all were honored.

The 2018-19 Lions golf team hit the course with a revamped roster this past year. The Lions coached by Joe Sparhawk secured their first team win in program history at the 2019 Pioneer Classic hosted by Marietta College. With Emma Schrand, Isabella Olthaus, and Hayley Quatman all placing within the top ten, they lifted the Lions to victory.
